Our Verdict:
Love him or hate him, you simply can't ignore ActionJeff. The teenager - who divides opinion with his online rants and barbed comments towards opponents - is now firmly established as one of the world's best online players. See our Archive of Player Focuses for many more.
ActionJeff - aka Jeff Garza - is a 19-year-old from Massachusetts who has become a consistent force in online MTTs over the past 18 months. His winnings on PokerStars alone total more than $436,000 and he's also won some huge cash games. He's happy to mouth off regularly, which succeeds in winding up opponents but appears to make him an even more competitive and focused player.
The teen phenomenon - who lists "Forrest Gump" among his favourite films and says he likes any music "with a good melody" - is currently taking time out after high school to travel the world playing poker and spend time with his friends.
He recently claimed to be Fast_Freddie, an assertion we followed up here on Poker Verdict (read our story here). It was no surprise when the real Fast_Freddie, aka Mohammad Kowssarie, stepped forward saying: "Frankly I was surprised to hear someone else has been claiming my screen name..."
After reading our story ActionJeff posted on his blog saying: "LOOOOOOOOL wow. The fact that anyone.... took what I wrote seriously makes it all the more awesome."
Don't worry Jeff - we knew you were kidding all along.
