Our Verdict:
Emil Holmsten aka ‘HouseeLover’ has a fearsome online CV and is a consistent casher in the biggest MTT’s around. The main source of his wrath has been PokerStars, where he boasts prizes of over $283,000 ($158,000 of this is profit). In December ’06 he took down the $215 re-buy for $45,100, followed by the daily $100 re-buy less than a month later for $27,747. A win in the Daily 50 Grand for $14,562 in late 2007 was followed by victory in the Sunday Second Chance in May ’08 for a cool $41,004. He was also making an excellent run at Event #9 of the FTOPS the very same month before eventually busting out in 14th for $10,612.Emil has started to show his intent in the offline domain as well. In January ’08 he final tabled the Stars’ Caribbean Adventure (coming 7th for $20,435). And in Monte Carlo he went very deep in the €1,000 Grand Final, finally coming in 4th for a further $47,787.
All in all, yet another promising young online Swede whose stock is sure to grow in the coming months.
